CargoQuill does not ask for your Apple ID password or payment card details. App Store payments are processed by Apple.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the authority to enter, store, and share information relating to customers, suppliers, employees, or other individuals.
Do not enter information that is unnecessary for your trade documents. Before sharing a generated document, review it carefully and select an appropriate and secure delivery method.
How We Use Information
Information may be used to operate requested app functions, maintain saved records, calculate totals, generate documents, provide backups or synchronization when enabled, verify purchases, restore access, troubleshoot problems, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, and improve reliability. We do not use your document content to make automated legal, customs, or credit decisions.
Data Storage and Security
Depending on the app version, device configuration, and features you select, data may be stored on your device and may also be synchronized or backed up using Apple services such as iCloud or CloudKit. Exported PDF files are stored and shared in locations you select through iOS or iPadOS.
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the service. However, no storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security. Keep your device protected, maintain secure backups, and share commercial documents only with intended recipients.
Third-Party Services
CargoQuill may rely on third-party services to operate selected functions. These may include Apple App Store and StoreKit for purchases, Apple iCloud or CloudKit for storage and synchronization, RevenueCat for purchase entitlement management, and hosting or delivery providers for this website. Each provider processes information under its own terms and privacy practices.
Third parties do not receive document content from us unless it is necessary for a feature you activate, is directed by you, or is required by law.
Analytics and Diagnostics
We may receive aggregated usage information, crash reports, and diagnostics from Apple or service providers when those services and device settings permit it. This information helps us understand errors, performance, and general feature reliability. We aim to avoid collecting document contents through analytics and diagnostics.
Data Retention
Locally stored records remain available until you delete them, remove the app and its data, or use an available reset function. Information synchronized through a third-party cloud service may remain according to your account settings and that provider's retention practices. Support correspondence and limited operational records may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to resolve requests, maintain security, meet legal obligations, or establish legitimate business records.
User Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive information associated with you, or to object to certain processing. Many document records can be reviewed, corrected, exported, or deleted directly within the app. Requests that cannot be completed in the app may be sent to the contact email below.
